Summary of Position Functions

Veregy, an energy services company (ESCO), is an industry leader in bringing energy-efficient, intelligent building technology and distributed energy solutions to markets throughout the US. We believe innovation and award-winning service create long-term value for our clients. Due to increased growth, Veregy seeks to add a Service Sales Representative to support our Solar O&M and Technology groups.

This Sales Account Manager - Service will be responsible for cultivating relationships with new and existing industry partners who sell or resell our products and services while also spearheading the expansion of our partner network. In addition, this role will be responsible for developing and executing go to market strategies for solar operations & maintenance and building technology service contracts. The efforts of this role will play a critical role in broadening our market reach and driving revenue growth.

Essential Position Functions

  • Partner Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with industry partners.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries, issues, and support, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
    • Work closely with partners to understand their businesses and align our products and services with their goals.
  • Partner Enablement:
    • Provide partners with the necessary resources, training, and support to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver marketing materials, product updates, and other relevant information to partners and clients.
  • Business and Sales Development:
    • Identify and research potential new partners or end use clients to expand our network and increase market penetration.
    • Develop and execute a strategic plan for onboarding new partners, which includes pitching our offerings, negotiating agreements, and managing the onboarding process.
    • Develop and execute go-to-market and sales strategies for solar O&M and building technology service contracts.
  • Sales Target Achievement:
    • Set and achieve sales targets by collaborating with partners and clients to drive service sales.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of partner and client interactions, agreements, and sales data.
    • Generate reports and insights to track performance and make informed decisions.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and threats.

  • Experience in inside sales, customer and partner relationship management, or business development.

  • Knowledge of the industry and the ability to quickly grasp and communicate technical product information.

Educational/Certification and Experience Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Work environment

  • Hybrid – Split time between typical office environment and remote work.
