Job Description

Join our team as Restaurant Manager and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality to all of our guests every day. We strive to provide excellence to our staff as well ensuring that each day is an opportunity to educate, inspire curiosity, and create an environment of genuine hospitality at every turn.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily operations of outlets including the Garden Room and Tap Room restaurants. 

  • Maintain and uphold all brand and Mayflower standards to the highest levels of excellence.

  • Ensure training and educational procedures per our L&D resource are in place, reviewed and enforced.

  • Build up and develop strong teams within the department including our service staff, bartenders, hosts, and support teams. 

  • Cultivate relationships across departments on property as well as the community at large.

  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.

  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.

  • Liaise with all departments to ensure clear and concise communication on all reports, functions and guest notes for the day.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality Certificate or Degree preferred

  • A minimum of 2 years of Restaurant Management experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multi-task and delegate effectively

  • Ability to obtain/maintain state required licenses and/or certifications such as Servsafe Certified or NRSFP and TIPS Certification

  • Appearance must be clean and professional

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs

  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and be able to lift up, push, and pull at least 50 pounds

  • Experience within the luxury/upscale segment of the hospitality industry

  • Time management and effective communication skills via digital and personal channels
