We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the financial operations of the company.  Familiarity with QuickBooks is ideal. 
You will also be assisting the Executive team (4 people) with basic office duties such as ordering supplies, creating documents, sending emails, etc.. You must be highly detail oriented and able to work in an ever evolving and changing environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reporting to the CFO, the Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely processing of the bi-weekly payroll cycle and monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting of payroll data for various internal and external constituents.
  • Responsible for preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other daily finance department functions.
  • Responsible for verifying and occasionally inputting accurate and timely employee profile data from Human Resources into the payroll system
  • Responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, including the beginning of the payroll cycle in payroll software, assuring timesheets are signed off by the appropriate supervisor and during the appropriate time frame, and distributing live checks to employees
  • Responsible for daily sorting, scanning, and distributing of mailed patient payments and insurance documents
  • Responsible for check deposit preparation for the Accounts Payable Coordinator.
  • Must be able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.

This is a Monday-Friday an in-office position in Peabody, MA 
SKILLS:

- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of payroll processes
- Familiarity with accounts payable functions
- Worked in multi faceted organizations
- Ability to adapt quickly
- Basic office skills: MS Office, Google Suite

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
