BruckEdwards, Inc. is seeking a Badging & Credentialing Specialist to join our team of IT professionals supporting a multi-year, on-going Departmental Credentialing initiative for one of our federal clients.
Role Description:
This position is performed in a government public office, in Washington, DC, that serves high level executives and officials. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, and a consistent professional demeanor at all times. The Badging & Credentialing Specialist will provide PIV card enrollment, registration, sponsorship and issuance support in the existing card management system (CMS), Monday through Friday, for a typical 8-hour business day.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Effectively communicate with customers to schedule appointments using Microsoft Outlook.
- Politely greet customers as they arrive at the office.
- Answer telephone calls from customers and provide them with the information requested.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of ID badge request documentation on paper or computer documents.
- Process enrollments, sponsorships, adjudications, issuance, and activations for PIV Credentials, including Facility Access Cards (FAC) using the card management system.
- Process PACS enrollments for customers.
- Daily data entry using Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel).
- Deliver exemplary customer service and maintain a positive attitude while working with customers from the initial contact through completion of the service provided.
- Communicate clearly, efficiently, and professionally at all times.
- Record meeting minutes.
- Exemplary customer service background and positive attitude when working with customers/the general public.
- Self-starter with the ability to run basic reports and perform data cleanup as instructed.
Basic Qualifications:
- One (1) year of exemplary customer service experience.
- Education = Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Clearance = NACI - This is a Public Trust position and requires a National Agency Check with Investigation (NACI).
- Strong Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Must be able to perform work on site with the client in Washington, DC.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Preferred Skills:
- One (1) years’ operations experience supporting federal government agency HSPD-12, Credentialing Management Systems, PIV programs.
- Active PIV card- Preferred
