Key Responsibilities

To excel in this role, the individual must effectively manage the following responsibilities:

1. Facilitate the departmental intake process for onboarding new hires and re-credentialing existing providers in collaboration with the Credentialing Team and Manager.

2. Maintain and update a weekly tracking system, sharing it with key contacts and management to ensure timely processing of requests and updates.

3. Collaborate with Credentialing Specialists and the Manager to log and review Provider Transmittal Forms, ensuring accuracy and proper tracking.

4. Evaluate the status of MDApp and CAQH submissions, notifying management and clinic personnel of any process gaps or responsiveness issues.

5. Serve as a liaison between departments and the Credentialing Specialist to streamline credentialing activities and eliminate timeline obstacles.


6. Organize meeting logistics, including participant invitations, agenda creation, room reservations, note-taking, and tracking action items for team meetings.

7. Communicate effectively with internal management, clients, and staff at all levels, ensuring accurate and timely information dissemination.

8. Utilize the Credentialing System to query provider profiles, generate reports, and obtain precise credentialing information and data.

9. Perform basic credentialing tasks, including working with credentialing software and running Certifax, as well as uploading necessary materials.
Minimum Qualifications

Education:
A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant experience in the healthcare sector, with a solid understanding of medical terminology and systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Familiarity with navigating and reporting in MDStaff is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, sit, stand, and reach above shoulder height frequently in an office environment.

Must be capable of occasionally lifting or carrying and frequently pushing or pulling up to 20 lbs.

Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, copier, and other office equipment.
