Role Overview: As the Foster Care Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our foster care programs. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, providing support to families, children, and youth, and ensuring compliance with Title XXII regulations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to train, coach, and provide professional development to our dedicated staff, while fostering a culture of integrity, empathy, empowerment, respect, and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Services: Recruit and onboard new foster families, monitor home renewals, advise on placements, and provide liaison services to various agencies and stakeholders.
  • HR Responsibilities and Training: Assist in hiring, disciplinary procedures, and annual performance evaluations, while providing supervision and support to program staff.
  • Program Development and Marketing: Act as an ambassador for the agency, support recruitment efforts, monitor grants and budgets, and seek new opportunities and funding.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related field approved by CCL.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in foster care or related field.
  • Knowledge of foster care and Title 22 regulations.
  • Valid California Driver’s license and state-required registration and insurance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
