The Project Coordinator II, as part of the Project Coordination team, plays a crucial role in BAI Connect’s success by ensuring the timely installation of services for customers and successful completion of internal projects. The Project Coordinator II manages a variety of projects and tasks, including administration and oversight of various team schedules & activities; project tracking and coordinating site access for field teams. In addition, the Project Coordinator II serves as the project information hub, acting as the point of contact between the projects POCs and internal departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely service installation by coordinating and tracking work tasks between sales, field operations, network engineering and the end customer or property.
  • Coordinate projects which include multiple services and deliverables
  • Track and report on project status and milestones, including key dates and activities including raising issues as they arise.
  • Identify potential issues/risks and work to resolve them before projects are negatively impacted.
  • Enter contract and service information and data in internal systems
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all project stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Process internal requests for site access with third-parties, working with end users and properties to arrange and confirm site access for our field teams
  • Responsible for the proper closeout of the service order(s) with the customer and within the appropriate systems in accordance with company policies and procedures and provides any formal documentation required to the customer such as completion notices and customer support information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skill and Knowledge Qualifications:

  • Education:
    1. Associates Degree
    2. Relevant trade school or certifications a plus

  • Experience:
    1. Previous experience in project coordination
    2. Experience in telecom or internet service provider, WISP, or similar business is preferred

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    1. Basic Knowledge of internet and network technologies and designs
    2. Computer Skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products/Google Docs/Gmail
    3. Strong critical-thinking and problem solving, attention to detail and time management skills are required
    4. Ability to successfully manage multiple simultaneous tasks and work activities at once
    5. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required including end user customer service skills
    6. Need to be a self-starter with an ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without supervision
