As a key player in our leadership team, you’ll ensure compliance within the HR Department while driving our organization towards excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to,
compensation, payroll, employee benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and
investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale;
occupational health and safety; and training and development. - Develop and implement Human Resource strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall
business strategy. - Develop, implement, and manage policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to
support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy. - Direct and oversee recruiting and hiring across all business units within The Company.
- Maintain knowledge of human resource trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Monitor and ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws,
regulations, and best practices, to include (but not limited to) FMLA, ADA, WC, and EEO Laws
and requirements. - Provide oversight and guidance to organizational leadership/management on handling,
escalation, and/or corrective/disciplinary actions related to employee attendance, behavioral,
and/or performance issues. - Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation,
and preservation of human capital. - Oversee payroll management through ADP.
- Oversee management of PTO balances.
- Oversee management of the new employee onboarding process.
- Oversee performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Establish human resource metrics and conduct routine reporting to executive management.
- Develop and implement department budget.
- Manage direct reports.
- Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for Human Resource
department. - Establish and monitor objective annual goals for direct reports.
- Conduct direct report performance reviews and establish performance improvement plans as
needed. - Attend/participate in offsite business meetings/conferences.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Ability to anticipate and solve problems

- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with data entry and payroll software and systems

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent required.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
- At least 5-10 years of experience in human resources with progressive management
responsibilities/experience required.
