POSITION SUMMARY

Come join an award winning agency in Knoxville, TN Insurefit RM is seeking an organized and highly motivated insurance account manager with a concentration in commercial insurance to join our growing team. Responsibilities include writing new business, managing client communications, nurturing key relationships, performing commercial and personal lines policy changes and completing account reviews. You will help customers understand their coverage, assist them with any claims as needed, and ensure all relevant data is properly tracked in our agency management system. This is a chance to build on your experience, with plenty of room for growth. If you’re looking to take on an important sales and account management role during this period of high growth, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed in this position. A license is not necessary as Insurefit RM will provide and pay for appropriate training and licenses. We recently moved into our new state-of-the-art office less than 5 minutes north of downtown and seeking talented, dedicated, and career-minded individuals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve sales goals through generating new business and cross-selling existing customers
  • Follow up to ensure that a next-level client experience is delivered
  • Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items
  • Consult with clients to help process quotes and issue renewals or any updates needed to current policies
  • Identifies exposure to loss and recommends appropriate coverages
  • Meet regularly with agents to keep up with industry standards, insurance products, current rates, coverages, insurance policies, and carriers, so you can assist our team with understanding and addressing the newest rules and policy updates
  • Process and handle billing inquiries
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Two years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Perform at a high level making outbound phone calls
  • Embrace networking, community involvement and relationship building
  • Personal integrity where customer's best interest is top priority
  • Impeccable follow through
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Superior problem solving skills
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office 365
