Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to serve as the Children's Crisis RN Coordinator for our organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), providing clinical leadership, and ensuring the highest level of care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical guidance and oversight to nursing staff, ensuring that clients receive high-quality care and treatment.
  • Program Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the CSU, including census tracking, productivity, and program development.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Client Care: Provide direct care to clients as needed, including crisis interventions and medical emergencies.
  • Documentation: Complete all chart documentation within 2 business days, adhering to MCO and CARF standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Must have a RN degree with a current/valid Tennessee license.
  • Experience: Experience in psychiatric nursing and acute care preferred.
  • Skills: Strong clinical leadership and program management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This position will be housed at East Tennessee Children's Hospital (ETCH), where the Children's CSU will be operating. Staff will be expected to work in and create a therapeutic environment while meeting the medical and facility requirements for operating a CSU.

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is approximately $34.00/hr based on relevant experience and education.
