Responsibilities:

  2. Contribute to Finance Functions
  3. Manage Grants/ Fund development
  4. Operations Functions

  1. Assist in Human Resources functions
    1. Manage 403b plan with Vanguard
    2. Supervise RN and Finance AP staff, Benefits Coordinator
    3. Manage and process all employee evaluations
    4. Complete Wage Surveys for Unemployment Services Trust
    5. Annual Health insurance renewals – calculate and upload rates into ADP
    6. File unemployment responses as necessary

  1. Contribute to Finance Functions
    1. Research and respond to IRS notices when received
    2. Prepare reports for PG County and Montgomery County Supplements – manage invoices monthly and quarterly
    3. Review and approve LTSS billing bi-weekly
    4. Back-up to AP staff
    5. Assist with annual financial audit as needed
    6. Enter payroll changes and monitor payroll bi-weekly

  1. Manage Grants/ Fund development
    1. Increases and enhances the visibility and name recognition of CALMRA in the public domain.
    2. Develops marketing tools to be used in staff recruitment and private donations/corporate sponsorships.
    3. Act as liaison and intermediary to public officials and formal news feeds
    4. Researches new area of potential funding –public and private
    5. Works with Fundraising Committee of Board to develop and enhance current activities
    6. Ensures funding streams remain consistent and sufficient
    7. Manages and updates social media platforms and website as needed

  1. Operations Functions
    1. Assure each program meets or exceeds standards in all required areas
    2. Works with Director of Program Operations to ensure all new/licensing requirements are implemented.
    3. Ensures all forms and applications needed for agency operations are completed.
