Our client, a community oriented, family run apartment complex, is hiring a Residential Property Manager to join their growing team. The position is full-time permanent with great benefits, and room for growth.
Things to know about this role:
- Office Location: Washington, NJ
- Work Location: Monday-Friday (on-site)
- Shift: 9am-5pm (evening and weekend hours may be required from time to time)
- Salary: $21/hour-$23/hour (plus any overtime as required)
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Our client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Appfolio software.
Requirements
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Continuing education courses related to property management, real estate, or business administration can be beneficial and are often encouraged.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at work.
Oversee day-to-day property operations ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction for residents.
Manage tenant relationships, including addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and conducting phone interviews with prospective residents.
Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions.
Implement and oversee leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Maintain accurate records of property activities, lease agreements, and financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Appfolio software.
Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Flexibility to meet the needs of future residents.
