Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, driving the organization's overall growth and development.
  • Lead efforts to identify, research, and implement strategic growth opportunities that positively impact clients and communities.
  • Cultivate partnerships within the community, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Assist with the development of strategic business proposals in collaboration with the Director of Mission Advancement.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, exploring new market opportunities and expanding existing programs.
  • Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives that leverage emerging technology and innovative service models.
  • Identify and evaluate potential joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic partnerships.
  • Provide external leadership and visibility, establishing the organization as a leader in innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Five+ years of progressive experience in leading teams and driving strategic growth.
  • Experience in human services, particularly in areas such as homelessness, aging services, intellectual and developmental disabilities, payee services, employment services, or veteran services.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong public speaking and representation skills.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Advanced public speaking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Database management skills.

Physical Requirements: The role requires occasional walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasionally, the employee may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Travel is required approximately 10-20% of the time.

* Compile or develop materials to submit to granting or other funding organizations.
* Contact corporate representatives, government officials, or community leaders to increase awareness of organizational causes, activities, or needs.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, government officials, and media representatives and use these relationships to develop new fundraising opportunities.
* Direct activities of external agencies, establishments, or departments that develop and implement fundraising strategies and programs.
* Evaluate advertising and promotion programs for compatibility with fundraising efforts.
* Formulate policies and procedures related to fundraising programs.
* Manage fundraising budgets.
* Plan and direct special events for fundraising, such as silent auctions, dances, golf events, or walks.
* Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare information for media kits, and develop and maintain company internet or intranet Web pages.
