Senior Level Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist

PCG Consulting group is a dynamic and innovative technology-driven organization that partners with health, education, and human services agencies to improve lives. We're currently partnered with Deloitte and is looking for a Senior -Level Salesforce Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
We are looking for a Salesforce Quality Assurance specialist as well as a professional who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications through meticulous testing and defect management. This role involves the development and execution of test scripts aligned with sprint requirements, end-to-end scenarios, and regression testing protocols. The primary objective is to verify that Salesforce features and functionalities meet specified requirements and perform as expected in various scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Script Development: Develop comprehensive test scripts in alignment with sprint deliverables, encompassing various testing scenarios such as end-to-end workflows, regression tests, and feature-specific validations. These scripts should be meticulously crafted to cover all relevant aspects of Salesforce applications.
- Testing Execution: Execute test cases based on the developed test scripts, utilizing appropriate testing methodologies and tools. Conduct thorough testing to identify potential defects, inconsistencies, or performance issues within the Salesforce environment.
- Defect Reporting: Document and report any identified defects or anomalies through structured defect reporting mechanisms. Clearly articulate the nature of the issue, steps to reproduce, and expected behavior to facilitate efficient resolution by development teams.
- Retesting: Collaborate with development teams to validate and retest fixed defects or implemented changes. Conduct regression testing as necessary to ensure that resolved issues do not reintroduce any unintended consequences or regressions in the system.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure alignment on quality objectives. Communicate effectively to convey testing results, progress updates, and any pertinent issues or concerns.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability of quality assurance activities within the Salesforce environment. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in Salesforce testing to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a focus on Salesforce applications.
- Proficiency in developing test scripts and executing tests using industry-standard testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionalities, including configuration, customization, and integration aspects.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to systematically identify and troubleshoot issues within complex systems.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder are preferred but not mandatory.
