Role Overview

We are in search of Quality Assurance Automation Specialists who will play a crucial role in developing and executing testing strategies prior to product releases, ensuring optimal software performance. This role involves working within an Agile framework alongside a diverse team to enhance automation testing coverage of software applications within an established framework. Candidates should be adept in both automation and manual testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test suites and cases for both functional and non-functional testing, along with thorough documentation.
  • Provide manual support during releases for features that are not yet automated.
  • Debug Infrastructure-as-Code to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to offer insights and recommendations on development approaches.
  • Troubleshoot issues across various applications and services in a distributed cloud environment.
  • Monitor and document any manual processes within your organization with the aim of automating them.
  • Identify and resolve production bugs and errors, updating regression tests to cover edge cases.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of industry best practices and elevate the Quality Engineering Organization as a whole.
  • Continuously innovate and refine existing tools, processes, and frameworks to adapt to a rapidly changing technological landscape.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
  • Extensive experience with modern Typescript automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficient in reading and writing within a JavaScript and Typescript codebase.
  • Experience with Playwright is a significant advantage (familiarity with Cypress and similar tools is also beneficial).
  • Experience working in Agile and CI/CD environments is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in automation testing is required.
