Clinical Coordinator Medical Assistant (40 Hours)

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for assisting the clinical supervisor and manager with the coordination of the day to day functions and efficient operations of the site
  • Performs all functions of a medical assistant while providing leadership and serving as a role model, setting an example for employees in terms of customer service, professionalism and productivity
  • Active Teamwork: Coordinates patient flow in the office
  • Collaborates with receptionist to make certain that patients are seen in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assists front office personnel by answering the telephone, scheduling patient appointments, and other tasks as needed
  • Handles the coordination and assignment of clinical support staff to provide adequate coverage in designated departments
  • Assists with staffing changes due to sick calls on a daily basis
  • Assists with management and resolution of employee staffing issues
  • Serves as a resource for staff
  • Works closely with and assists clinical manager/supervisor, communicating all daily department activities in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks well
  • Demonstrate the ability to provide good judgment, problem solving and team building skills
  • Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
