The University of Massachusetts Medical School is seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our research staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting clinical trials, ensuring the integrity and quality of our research studies.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and conduct clinical trials, including screening, enrolling, and consenting participants
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful study outcomes
- Develop and maintain study protocols, case report forms, and other regulatory documents
- Provide training and support to research staff and clinical partners
- Monitor and report adverse events, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners to obtain necessary services and resources
- Assist with feasibility assessments, budget development, and study start-up activities
- RN with current registration to practice nursing in Massachusetts
- 3-5 years of relevant nursing experience, with 2 years of research nurse coordinator experience preferred
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and relevant computer software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment and travel to off-site locations
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Experience with OnCore and Epic
- Phlebotomy and EKG skills
- BLS Certification
This is a hybrid position, requiring both on-site and remote work. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced research environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
