Job Overview: As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing human resource functions across the organization. You will work closely with senior leadership to implement HR strategies that support our business objectives and enhance employee experience. Your role will involve managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber talent. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to interviews and offer letters. Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture.

  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues. Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.

  • Performance Management: Implement and manage performance review processes. Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to enhance performance and professional development.

  • Compliance and Policy: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonus structures, and benefits administration. Partner with external vendors to manage health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to address skill gaps and support employee growth. Facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed.

  • HR Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR practices with company goals. Contribute to the development of HR strategies that support business growth and employee engagement.

  • Data Management: Maintain HR metrics and reports to analyze trends and make data-driven decisions. Ensure accurate and confidential handling of employee information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR management, with at least 1 years in a leadership role within a venture capital or startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Experience with HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
