Your Role and Responsibilities

As a pivotal figure in the newly formed joint venture between ABB and Niedax Group, you will be instrumental in shaping the organizational culture and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This position offers the opportunity to craft and execute a comprehensive people strategy through effective HR processes. Your daily responsibilities will include providing HR support for designated teams, collaborating closely with management, and establishing robust relationships with business leaders and employees.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing strategic HR counsel and support to the Joint Venture CEO and leadership team.
  • Facilitating the development and communication of the organization's vision, mobilizing leaders to foster a culture of performance and recognition.
  • Leading large-scale, complex projects independently and collaboratively, demonstrating a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Overseeing the integration of HR functions across North America, ensuring smooth operations during and after the transition.
  • Managing the transition of employees and HR functions as part of the joint venture formation.

Qualifications for the Role
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record in managing the talent life cycle and successfully implementing HR strategies in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience in a multi-country HR context, particularly within North America.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading HR integration and change management initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements in the US.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and analytics tools, with experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic organization.
  • Ability to cultivate strong interpersonal relationships at all organizational levels, balancing business needs with employee advocacy.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred.
  • Work authorization for ABB in the US is required.
