Strategic Innovation Group (SIG) seeks an HR Generalist to support the development and execution of our human resources (HR) functions including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, payroll, compliance, and general department administation. Salary $50,000 to $70,000+

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support benefits administration through communication, documentation, and processing of claims, payment verification, and open enrollment while ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct an efficient onboarding process for new hires by organizing and coordinating all required documentation, such as pre-employment verifications, I-9 verifications, and orientations, while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Assist with HR policy and procedural development, regulation and policy compliance, and the generation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and knowledge management systems.
  • Support in the delivery of employee training programs, workshops, and initiatives to support employee development and enhance team cohesion and a positive engaged work culture.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 1-year relevant experience (or 4+ years equivalent work experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Possess a sense of urgency, accountability, professionalism, and self-motivation
  • Exhibit exceptional judgement, problem solving abilities, resourcefulness, and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; strong cross cultural and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with staff at all levels, as well as clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage team, peers, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment with a keen orientation for details, and work both independently as well as a contributing member of a team.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years HR Generalist experience at a federal government contractor
  • Familiarity with HR systems and applicant tracking systems. Preferably: PNI-HCM (PayrollNetwork), GovConPay, iSolvedHCM, iHire
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • Must have ability to pass background check
