Key Responsibilities of the CFO:


Financial Strategy and Planning:

oDevelop and implement financial strategies to support the companys overall strategic goals.

oOversee the companys financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

oProvide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.

Financial Management:

oManage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.

oEnsure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

oOversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Risk Management:

oIdentify and manage financial risks, ensuring that the company has adequate insurance coverage and risk management strategies in place.

oDevelop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.

Operational Efficiency:

oImplement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.

oLead initiatives to improve financial processes and systems, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Team Leadership:

oLead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

oProvide mentorship and support to finance team members, promoting professional growth and development.


Qualifications for the CFO:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the agriculture or related industry.

Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategy.

Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions.
