Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and driven Full Charge Bookkeeper to become a vital member of our finance team. This role presents an exceptional chance for an experienced individual to assume a key position in overseeing our financial documentation and transactions. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage all aspects of our bookkeeping functions, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, managing payroll, and preparing tax submissions. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial information and contributing to our overall financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, your main duties will include:

1. Overseeing daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
2. Generating and submitting periodic financial reports as required.
3. Managing company ledgers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
4. Processing payroll and ensuring timely payment of payroll taxes.
5. Preparing and filing sales tax returns while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
6. Collaborating with the finance team to develop forecasts and financial reports.
7. Implementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures.
8. Assisting in the preparation of year-end financial statements and statutory accounts.
9. Addressing financial inquiries by collecting and analyzing data.
10. Conducting internal audits of financial activities as necessary.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Full Charge Bookkeeper position should have:

1. At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
2. Proven expertise in bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including client bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, payroll tax submissions, and sales tax filings.
3. Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheet applications, and other relevant business software.
4. Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. High integrity and reliability, with a strong focus on results.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
9. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
