ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Lead Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller to maintain the organization's general ledger, prepare account reconciliations, assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, provide analysis and support during the annual audit process, contribute to accounting-related process improvement initiatives, and perform other financial duties while ensuring compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

COMPENSATION:
Annual salary range $74,500 - $97,500 depending on experience, plus Bonus up to 10%

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct monthly financial close activities.
  • Maintain and update all financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Analyze results and generate the monthly reporting package, including financial statements and other internal management reports.
  • Maintain, reconcile, and analyze general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors and tax preparers.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other financial regulations.
  • Prepare and file annual property tax returns.
  • Cross-train on accounts receivable/payable functions and perform related duties as needed.
  • Execute other finance and administrative tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting/Finance.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in Accounting/Finance.
  • CPA certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Accounting/Finance principles and experience applying them in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize various software products.
  • Strong work ethic, team-oriented mentality, and a high degree of accountability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt positively to changing priorities.
