The Financial Insights Analyst plays a crucial role in the financial operations of CommonSpirit Health. This position is designed to serve as a bridge between the finance team and various business units, ensuring that financial data is accurately analyzed and reported. The primary objective is to enhance the quality of financial information and support strategic decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an internal consultant to identify and analyze business data requirements.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the integrity of financial reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address data discrepancies and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain strong relationships with key business partners to understand their financial needs and challenges.
- Support ongoing financial analysis for various markets within CommonSpirit Health.
- Evaluate business requirements and assess system capabilities to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or business analysis roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with relational database management systems.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to senior management.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues within financial systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with health economics analytics or risk management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) is a plus.
- Experience with statistical software and ETL systems.
