Who We’re Looking For:We are seeking a Help Desk II professional to join our team for a contract assignment with a government agency in Madison, WI. This role involves providing essential IT support services, including Identity and Account Management (IAM) for internal staff and public users of government applications.Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st and 2nd Tier computer support for internal staff.
  • Manage and deploy computers, ensuring compliance with security and operational protocols.
  • Perform Identity and Account Management (IAM) services, including password resets, account unlocks, and user authentication.
  • Handle software service requests and troubleshoot IT issues (hardware, software, network).
  • Utilize security tools and IAM tools to manage public user accounts securely.
  • Support and manage computer devices (laptops, desktops) and ensure software compliance (Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe products, etc.).
  • Collaborate with team members and escalate issues as necessary to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Document all support activities and maintain accurate records using ticketing and call management systems.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience providing IT support in a professional setting.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 3+ years of experience in Identity management administration.
  • Experience with a web-based telephony system is a plus.
  • Experience verifying confidential account credentials is a plus.
  • Experience with conference room technology is a plus.
  • Previous experience working within government environments is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
Note: The successful candidate will be required to adhere to standard working hours and must be available for all scheduled meetings and workload requirements.
