Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Oversee clerical tasks, personnel records, medical records, office equipment, and payroll.
- Financial Support: Assist in billing and other financial operations as needed.
- Communication Oversight: Manage hospice communications, including pagers, telephones, mail, and tracking physician orders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Utilize effective communication skills to foster a positive work environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Stay informed about changes in hospice regulations.
- Mission Advocacy: Promote the hospice philosophy and mission, presenting a positive image to our clients.
- Adaptability: Be prepared to perform additional duties to support our team as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in office administration or related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using Microsoft and Google applications.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations is advantageous.
- A commitment to the hospice philosophy of care and service.
Position Requirements:
- Educational Background: Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable experience with typing, clerical responsibilities, and computer operations.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of two years in healthcare billing is desirable. Prior experience in a hospice setting is advantageous.
