The Community Engagement Director is a sales position that builds positive business relationships, drives patient referrals, and raises awareness of Mendota Health in assigned market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop market-specific sales strategy to cultivate and drive referrals
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with target partners and existing partners
  • Execute effective email communications and campaigns
  • Complete regular market research
  • Attend and participate in educational programs and networking/sales conferences
  • Stay current with industry and marketplace changes and opportunities for competitive advantage
  • Collaborate and communicate with team and cross-functional partners to fully meet customer needs
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Access, maintain and analyze daily (CRM) software for sales activities, outcomes and prospective leads.
  • Assist in obtaining information from the referral source related to resident care needs, acuity, etc. to assist the admissions team in making quick and informed decisions if admission is granted.
  • Enter and maintain incoming patient referrals in customer relationship management software
  • 75% local travel required for face-to-face meetings with referral sources, care partners, and customers.

Education and Experience

  • 2 years of proven and effective experience in sales and/or business development in a health care setting required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Wound care industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of Medicare (Part A & B) and managed care
  • Microsoft office and CRM experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with trusted means of transportation
