At OneWorld Community Health Centers, we recognize that enhancing health outcomes involves addressing educational disparities. Our Learning Community Center of South Omaha (LCCSO) is dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap through initiatives focused on early childhood education, family involvement, and teacher training. Our mission is to significantly enhance educational achievements for children and their families.

We are looking for a dedicated Educational Navigator to facilitate connections between South Omaha families and our impactful programs.

The Educational Navigator will engage with families, promoting our mission and resources. The LCCSO collaborates with parents and their young children, empowering them with knowledge and skills to create enriching home environments conducive to learning and development.

This is a full-time evening role.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, or a related discipline OR equivalent professional experience in educational methodologies to enhance child learning.
  2. Proficient communication skills in both English and Spanish, including written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  4. A valid driver's license and automobile insurance, along with a clean driving record.
  5. Ability to work independently while remaining committed to team objectives.
  6. Proven ability to establish rapport and build relationships with diverse populations.
  7. Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions to work challenges.
  8. Willingness to travel for workshops, training sessions, meetings, and in-services.
  9. Flexibility to work occasional evenings.
