The Magadia Business Development coordinator (BDC) will be responsible for
establishing the company's guidelines and vision for supporting the Business
Development Lifecycle, that includes Opportunity Identification, Proposal Management
and Opportunity Tracking.
The BDC will search a variety of platforms such as Sam.Gov, GSA eBuy, Procurement
Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), GovWin, Unisom Market place and other
available tools to identify potential opportunities for the Company to pursue. The BDC
will research and identify opportunities that align with Magadia’s experience to add to
the pipeline for an initial Bid/No Bid decision. The BDC will maintain a tracking sheet of
all opportunities and provide regular updates to ensure the currency and accuracy of the
data.
The BDC will coordinate weekly Business Development meetings with the Corporate
staff, during the meeting the BDC will brief the status of opportunities identified. In
addition, the BDC will coordinate the initial review of opportunities utilizing the
Company’s Bid/No Bid process.
The BDC will help develop and submit proposals by providing administrative assistance
to the proposal team. During the proposal process they will use word processing
systems to create presentations, prepare work plans, and organize proposal content.
The Business Development Coordinator will also create computer graphics and
prioritize proposal assignments.
The BDC will develop the proposal templates, compliance matrix and other required
proposal documents in a timely manner. The BDC will organize the proposal kick off
meeting and recurring proposal status meetings with the Team. The BDC will work to
edit and design the finalized proposal document. The BDC will also work with the
proposal team to ensure that deadlines are met. The BDC will be responsible for
working on multiple proposals at the same time. Finally, The BDC will be responsible for
communicating the progress of proposals to management.

Required Experience
The BDC will have 5 years of experience working as a Proposal coordinators or as a
Business Development Coordinator. It is preferred the BDC has a bachelor’s degree in
business administration, or Program Management. The BDC will also need to be skilled
in an office productivity suite like Microsoft Office and design-based software such as
Microsoft Publisher or Adobe. The BDC will need to have experience responding to
Government solicitations and have experience researching the Federal Acquisition
Regulations. The BDC are the final eye for proposals, so along with the education, you
will need to be able to accurately proofread the entire proposal.

Workdays and Work Hours
The BDC is expected in the Corporate Office Monday through Friday.
The Core working hours are between 8:00AM and 5:00PM to fulfill an Eight (8) hour
working day.
