Sales Representative - Accent Fence

Job Overview:

As Residential/ Commercial Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the estimating company generated leads and submitting proposals for products and installation as supplied by the Company to all interested parties for projects within your territory. This will require blueprint interpretation, scope take-offs, estimating and preparation of the proposal. Following the sale, you will continue your relationship with the customer by providing all submittals and change orders for changes in scope. After the sale, you will team up with your project managers, field superintendents, crews and fabrication staff to see the project through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify and cultivate new leads through proactive outreach, networking, and referrals.
    • Utilize market research to identify potential clients and industries for targeted sales efforts.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Understand client requirements and recommend customized fence solutions.
  3. Sales Presentations:
    • Conduct engaging and informative product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Accent Fence products.
    • Provide clear and detailed information to clients to support informed decision-making.
  4. Quoting and Proposal Submission:
    • Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotes and proposals based on client specifications.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  5. Collaboration with Team:
    • Work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Share insights on market trends, competitor activities, and client preferences.
  6. Achieving Sales Targets:
    • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize sales and market penetration.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the fencing industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Knowledge of fencing products, materials, and industry trends (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Physical Requirements/ Work Environment:

  • Hot / cold temperatures based upon seasonal conditions, temperature range of 35 to 100 degrees F.
  • Exposure to humidly, noise, and dust
