Job DescriptionJob Description

Wheels America needs to add a vibrant, intelligent, independent, data-driven, and outgoing individual to be our Business Development Manager. Wheels America is one of the largest sellers of reconditioned OEM wheels in the country. We need to expand our footprint beyond the vicinities near our storefronts, and educate the rest of the country on who Wheels America is, a cost effective solution for OEM wheels.

Our ideal candidate would be well versed in digital/social media platforms, yet still have the ability to talk to potential partners in person. The ability to take historical sales data and derive a strategy is certainly expected. Our ideal candidate will also be excited to get to know our industry (automotive, tire, wheels) and build relationships with our competitors and top customers. We have a small sales team you will manage, however we would like to see our sales team grow in the future. If you are our ideal candidate, you will create, develop, and lead that team.

Throughout the year, we have a few important trade shows that will require your preparation and attendance. While we have employed people in this position and similar positions before, we have not recognized the traction that we would like nor met the expectations we are certainly capable of meeting.
