Position Summary

Lift Solutions Holdings provides end-to-end industrial lifting solutions. We offer OSHA compliance inspections, crane equipment, aftermarket services and parts for overhead cranes and other lifting equipment. Lift Solutions is committed to driving progress and efficiency. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing our sales channel through diverse clients in multiple industries, including but not limited to Government, Construction, Manufacturing, Elevator, Steel mills, etc. He/she/they will be the owner of a sales quota. This role leads the identification of, development, analysis, and finalization of budget and cost proposals for various customers and prospects, and manages contracts once acquired. The ideal candidate excels in communication and organization, with strong time management and a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite, they have strong analytical skills and thrive in high-paced environments.


Responsibilities

  • Prospecting business opportunities with existing and new customers by cold calling and warm calling.
  • Leads the proposal pricing process and develops competitive, compliant, and accurate cost proposals that are responsive to solicitation requirements as well as internal policies.
  • Can support government contracting activities, including acquisition planning, proposal evaluation, and interpretation/application of federal procurement regulations related to pricing proposals.
  • Builds cost proposals from existing pricing models according to customer's RFP/RFQ schedule; completes over and above cost proposals compliant with contractual requirements.
  • Reviews pricing data research to evaluate competition, analyze demand, assess the economic conditions, and monitor supplier costs (i.e., identify industry pricing trends).
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing within a team environment.
  • Utilize various bidding systems (e.g., DLA DIBBS, VSM, PROS, SNAP) to support procurement bidding opportunities.
Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ability to manipulate and organize large datasets.
  • Capable of functioning well in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
  • Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must be capable of passing a drug Screen.
  • Must be capable of passing a background check.
  • Must have strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Must be detail-oriented with good analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Must demonstrate positive, polite, and professional behavior at all times when dealing with co-workers, customers, and all levels of management.
  • Must have the ability to communicate using clear, concise, and accurate English; both verbal and written are Required.

Desired skills/experience:

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR purchasing practices, Bills of Material, DIBBS, VSM, WAWF, and bidding systems is essential for this role.
  • Experience using DIBBS and familiarity with VSM.
  • Knowledge of Bidding systems.

Education & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Inside Sales Representative in a similar manufacturing industry.
  • Military experience a plus.
  • Experience in proposal cost preparation and analysis supporting the federal sector; to include knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), contract cost, and price evaluation techniques.
  • Experience understanding and interpreting technical data, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions is preferred.
