Description:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist contractor, you will be responsible for ensuring quality and verifying that the developed solution meets the business requirements. You will write the automated test strategy, plan and scripts, and, for each application, schedule the tests for execution. Responsibilities will also include to monitor, measure, control and report on testing progress, product quality status, test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.

Lead and participate in establishing automated testing solutions Design, execute and maintain automated test scripts

Develop and maintain: requirements traceability matrices, system test plans, system test scenarios, regression test plans and test scripts (both manual and automated) based on software requirements and technical specifications

Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write and refine regression test plans

Document and report test results

Assist with the analysis of the results of automated test scripts Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/issues, with ability to lead small groups of IT and business staff for troubleshooting, problem resolution and brainstorming for available solutions Lead and participate in system testing and ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements prior to user acceptance testing

Participate in defining system implementation and user-acceptance test plans Work closely with QA Manager and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery

Experience Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

Exceptional skills in automated testing

Experience mentoring QA Analysts

4 year college degree in computer information systems or equivalent technical study

Required

6+ years of QA testing experience with industry standard quality assurance methodologies, verification and validation processes

3+ years of business process analysis

hands-on experience with test automation development in industry test automation framework (Selenium preferred)
