THE ROLE
TruSummit is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager / Demand Generation Specialist to join its small but mighty marketing team and guide efforts to build brand awareness and drive demand for our Salesforce strategy & consulting services. This is a key role on the marketing team, and we are looking for a full-stack, holistic marketer with an entrepreneurial, get-it-done attitude.
In this role, you will OWN the execution of account-based marketing programs with tactics that include email outreach, social media outreach, paid media, events (hosted and sponsored), and more. Intel will drive your approach from our various sales & marketing systems, including Apollo and Salesforce. You will also be expected to be a thoughtful and active PARTICIPANT in the development of the overall marketing strategy, including audience segmentation, go-to-market messaging, and the production of relevant content for the website, emails, ads, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and execute lead generation and lead nurture programs using every tactic available to you, including but not limited to: email, social media, phone calls, text messages, paid media, events, and more
- Operationalize our process for lead capture and sales follow-up from field marketing events, content, and other inbound leads
- Demonstrate initiative in the management of our nascent tech stack and how our systems integrate with one another
- Spearhead efforts to build, segment, and maintain our marketing CRM
- Contribute to the creation of content as needed
- Contribute to the planning and execution of physical and virtual events as needed
- Participate in the identification of new or emerging B2B lead channels and provide thoughtful recommendations to marketing and company leadership
- This position is a Remote/Telecommute position, but you must live in the Greater Pittsburgh Region.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of professional marketing experience
- Be an excellent communicator (both written and oral) with the ability to craft compelling content for a variety of mediums. We love ChatGPT, but we’d love your voice and POV even more
- Be a self-starter with a get-it-done attitude.
- Be scrappy. Have a bias for action. We are a start-up in growth mode; your approach, style, and recommendations should reflect that.
- Be creative. In your words, your designs and your tactics demonstrate creativity.
- Have solid business acumen.
- Understand market dynamics, sales strategies, and business development principles.
- Know what’s what in the world of business at large—understand titles, roles, functions, and how businesses operate generally.
- Be straightforward, direct, and confident. We are in go mode; you should be, too
- Like – no, make that LOVE – marketing. Truly, we want you to love marketing and love seeing the impact of your efforts measured in leads generated and deals closed.
