About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Leader - Investment Product Specialist to join our team at Invesco. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with intermediary clients: Grow existing client relationships and develop new profitable relationships to reach maximum wallet share.
  • Approach all interactions as a consultant: Start with client needs and optimally use internal resources to meet those needs, including delivering insight-based education, mentoring, and portfolio construction consultations.
  • Develop and complete a data-driven client segmentation strategy: Identify and prioritize high-value clients and develop targeted sales strategies to meet their needs.
  • Deliver product presentations: Present Invesco's investment products to current and prospective financial advisors via various channels, including telephone, WebEx, office visits, cluster meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Build and implement strategic travel rotation: Cover smaller boutique firms across the country and clients in non-metropolitan areas to expand Invesco's reach and build relationships.
  • Partner with the Division Sales Manager: Create and implement a territory sales plan aligned with the overarching division plan to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Series 7 and 63 required: Must have a valid Series 7 and 63 license.
  • CFA, CIMA, or similar certification a plus: Having a CFA, CIMA, or similar certification is highly desirable.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required: Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more years of sales experience in marketing investment products to financial advisors: Must have a proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on marketing investment products to financial advisors.
  • Technical investment expertise: Must have a deep understanding of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, Alternatives, and their competitive landscape, as well as a strong understanding of Capital Markets and the impact of economic factors.
  • Excellent listening skills: Must be able to listen actively and focus on meeting client needs.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills: Must be able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Digital and data-driven mentality: Must be able to develop and carry out a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced client experience.
  • Growth mindset: Must have a business-owner mentality and be willing to take calculated risks to drive business growth.
