Accounts Receivable Specialist

Founded in 2005, KT Produce is Arkansas’ premier provider of fresh fruits and vegetables. KT Produce provides premium-quality fruits and vegetables to a vast assortment of foodservice establishments including restaurants, schools, hotels, military bases, healthcare facilities, and other institutions throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, and southwest Missouri.
Essential Functions:
- Collect, batch and process drivers’ cash receipts (COD payments)
- Clarify remittances on customer accounts via phone
- Monitor accounts on a daily basis to maintain account reconciliations of skipped and disputed invoices
- Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts.
- Post payment deposits accurately to customer accounts and assist with maintaining customer account balances
- Routinely send invoice reminders and statements to customers
- Prepare invoices and statements for customers
- Post check batches
Competencies, Education, and Experience:
- Well-organized with ability to prioritize
- Highly resourceful
- Listening skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Organized and attention-to-detail approach
- A minimum of a Highschool diploma or GED equivalent and 1 year of successful experience performing the above duties
- Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office
- Valid identification or driver’s license (if appropriate)
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
Compensation:
- $17.00 - $19.00/hour
Physical Demands:
- Stand or sit for long periods of time
