TheCustomer Service Specialistis responsible for ensuring that customer orders (or requisitions) are being processed and fulfilled by the Consolidated Service Center (CSC) in a timely and complete fashion.


Job Responsibilities:

  • This will involve regular written and verbal communications with customers, CSC personnel, buyers, and vendors to resolve order fulfillment shortages, errors, or discrepancies, and assist with implementation of corrective action to prevent future issues.
  • Process customer returns and works with customers to reduce overstocks.
  • May take on additional responsibilities as the scope of the CSC evolves to best serve the needs of the healthcare system. This position reports to the CSR/Purchasing Manager for the CSC.


Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.Required
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a customer service-related position or call center environment, preferably health care related
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve and de-escalate customer order issues and complaints.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Adaptable and flexible to changes within the supply chain.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Phone skills, including experience with complex or multi-line systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with a distribution center fulfillment environment preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP and WMS systems preferred. MHHS uses Lawson (ERP) and Infor WMS.
  • Problem solving/quick learner. Taking an issue and figuring out one of the multiple ways to get in answer in our system.
  • Extensive experience in handling customers through email. Majority of our interaction is through Outlook on a shared email inbox.
  • Enjoys working on a team, more than a year preferred. Due to working through a shared inboxdetailed communicationis a must.
  • Some type of distribution/warehouse experience. Knowing medical supplies is a bonus.
  • Positive attitude and the want to show up every day.


Job Details:

  • Schedule: M-F 8 am – 5 pm (shift time may vary slightly)
  • Starting at $19/hr. (Based on experience)
  • Full benefits – healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program.
  • Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
