Finance Support Specialist

As a member of the Finance Retail team, you are an essential part of the team and a part of the exceptional customer experience. You are responsible for connecting with the customer via phone and in front office by establishing rapport and learning their needs to maintain the superior customer experience. You are part of the retail area that fosters a team environment. You take initiative, have strong assessment skills, critical thinking skills, phone, and spreadsheet skills. You are adaptable to the ebbs and flows of the day-to-day business.

Finance Support Specialist Summary

A Finance Support Specialist is responsible for answering customer inquiries & taking customer payments over the phone. This position enjoys problem solving and explaining financing policies to customers to enhance their understanding of their invoices and accounts. You will update spreadsheet entries for tracking, make outbound calls, and take inbound calls.

Finance Support Specialist Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate and explain financing and invoices to customers over the phone.
  • Create a positive and professional phone call experience with all customers.
  • Demonstrates problem solving and accounting skills.
  • Displays a high level of service orientation.
  • Ability to present information with diplomacy and tact.
  • Promotes and models Homemakers service standards.
  • Maintains confidentiality with proprietary information.
  • Works best in a challenging environment
  • Follows all operational and safety procedures.

Education/Work Experience

  • High School or GED
  • Cashiering, cash handling, or transactional experience required.
  • Phone or Call Center experience required.
  • Microsoft Office experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational & time management skills in a challenging environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • 10 key & typing skills.
  • Accuracy to details
