Job Summary
Preeminent is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team and manage our Onboarding and HR process. The Specialist will be responsible for communicating the company and position details to new hires before their start date and ensuring that employees submit all new hire paperwork prior to their start date. You will be responsible for assigning new hire training and ensuring that employees complete training before their start date. The specialist will also assist in other areas of to include recruiting and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Craft and send emails with information about the company and position.
- Schedule Onboarding & New Hire’s Orientation dates.
- Ensure that new hires submit their new hire documents.
- Communicate with the Recruiting dept, for successful transition of employee from recruiting to onboarding.
- Communicate with the Operations dept. to ensure that employees have a successful transition from onboarding to their start date.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as an HR Onboarding Specialist or in relevant HR role
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation
- Solid communication skills (verbal and written)
