Business Development Manager, Growth Marketing, 31513200 Description:
  • The Growth Marketing team is central to building our community of Guests and Hosts worldwide, and drives performance acquisition and retention goals through paid and organic strategies.
  • The Growth Marketing team is currently seeking a Business Development Associate (Contract) to help grow and optimize our Affiliate Marketing program. As part of the Affiliate Marketing team, you will manage and grow relationships with premium partner brands to drive outsized growth.
  • The role requires superb communication skills, combined with a strong analytical background and a passion for executing scalable media strategies. Success in this role means maximizing the value of our digital media investments in order to drive impact for the global brand and community.
Duties:
  • New Partner Sourcing:
    • Maintain database of inbound and outbound leads across all affiliate partnership categories (Demand, Supply, Experiences)
    • Proactively investigate and source new prospective partners globally, operating within the framework that the team has in place for new partnerships
    • Liaise with regional and local teams to identify high value leads outside of the US
    • Lead Zoom calls with prospective partners on a regular basis
    • Maintain the team’s program documentation to share with prospective partners
  • New Partner Onboarding:
    • Set up new partners within our affiliate management tool
    • Ensure compliance and quality of technical partnership setup
    • Oversee onboarding documentation and meeting sequence with new partners
  • Partner Management:
    • Lead monthly Zoom calls with a portion of our affiliate portfolio
    • Review and document newly published affiliate articles and evaluate for quality; flag articles to team in rare instances where they do not meet our content standards
    • Ensure that partners are properly using tracking links, and troubleshoot technical issues related to tracking links
    • Maintain the team’s documentation to share with existing partners
    • Send out periodic email updates to partners with new content to cover (e.g., Comms releases, Night@ promotions, etc.)
    • Respond to partner questions and client service issues
    • Support quality control and offboarding of existing partners in case of inactivity or missing program fit
    • Summarize partner and program performance, highlights and improvement opportunities. Share updates with Growth Marketing, Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Servicing of airlines partnerships:
    • Serve as primary POC with global airline partner brands, for addressing customer service issues related to earning of frequent flier miles under these programs.
    • Consult internal data sources to assess validity of escalated claims and render decisions back to partners.
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing or an adjacent field, and will ideally possess strong domain expertise in digital media and marketing, as well as past experience in account relationship management.
  • We will have a preference for candidates with specific experience in large-scale affiliate marketing programs at major consumer brands.
  • The candidate should be a self-starter with crisp communication skills, strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, and excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
Compensation:
  • $54.93 – 72.23/hr W-2
