Job Description

Eurofins Food Safety Systems provides globally recognized, accredited auditing and certification services that are focused on process optimization, risk reduction, and brand reinforcement.  Services provide customized, strategic evaluations designed specifically to solve industry challenges and promote informed, unbiased business decisions. Eurofins maintains an uncompromising commitment to quality and client service.

Position Details: 

100% REMOTE 

FULL TIME WORK

Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Client on-boarding and schedule audits - plan audits 6 – 12 months in advance when possible; verify and monitor client expiry dates and contact with ample time to begin scheduling next audit/task; schedule audits including planning re-certification audits and surveillance audits.
  • Provide best possible trips, working with customers and auditors on audit dates
  • Create proposals for current customers, if needed
  • Set audits up in various software programs and provide checklist to auditors and to customers
  • Send confirmation emails and audit plans to customers and auditor assignment forms to auditors; follow-up to assure receipt of necessary documentation.
  • Requesting customers register for desired accredited software, and complete registration if necessary
  • Analyze customer data for trends and trackability
  • Answering a multi-line phone system, must provide exceptional customer service
  • Keep records in software system of customer interactions; recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken. 
  • Ensure all certification scheme/scope requirements are being met
  • Customer issue resolution and escalation
  • Additional projects as assigned by Operations Manager.

Essential Duties:

  • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all aspects of work and adhere to all procedures established by Eurofins and its auditing clients.
  • Attend auditor update meetings
  • Review application and account information with input into pertinent systems.
  • Applies good practices in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. 
  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Technical – Knowledge of food safety certification scheme requirements, food product and management system accreditation requirements, quality management systems 
Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • BS degree in food related or relative experience preferred 
  • Proficient with Excel 

Additional preferences:

  • Experience in the auditing industry preferred
  • HACCP Training, PCQI

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for moving comfortably in a business environment and to interface with all levels of customer and staff
  • Detail oriented with documentation

Additional Information

Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed.
