$250 Sign on Bonus after 90 days

Additional $250 after 6 months

Community Engagement Supervisor:

  • Provide supervisory functions for community engagement professionals,
  • Collaborate with Program Director or designee to solicit instruction, feedback and address any concerns and apply appropriate problem solving,
  • Provide support for Individuals in the Community Engagement Program, 
  • Oversees the Community Engagement Field Staff to assure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly,
  • Prepare evaluations of Community Engagement Field Staff and reviews with Program Director before meeting with employee,
  • Assists in conducting assessments and developing Person Centered Plans,
  • Handles employee requisitions for time off,
  • Handles monthly Community Engagement Activity Calendar,
  • Check notes weekly as well as other documentation sheets and forward to Program Director for Review; (Print off notes weekly)
  • Check books to make sure the standing orders, prescriptions and doctor’s orders are up to date,
  • Assure all physicals are up to date,
  • Assure Community Engagement Field Staff have the supplies they need,
  • Attend Quarterly and Annual Meetings; complete Quarterly and Annual Reports,
  • Work one weekend a month.
  • Writes Corrective Actions as well
  • Compose a monthly duty task list for Director. 

Requirements of the position include:

  • Possess strong supervision skills,
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Individuals, Community and Staff,
  • Have good oral and written communication skills,
  • Possess the ability to respond quickly and appropriately to unpredictable behavior and circumstances,
  • Possess a caring and positive attitude,
  • Enjoy working with all people,
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED,
  • 2 years of experience working with Intellectual/Developmental Disabled Individuals,
  • Must possess a valid driver's license,
  • Have documented experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities or an associate degree,
  • This position requires the successful completion of training/certification in CPR, first aid, behavior management, medication administration.
  • This position requires the successful completion of criminal history and central registry background investigations.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16 per hour
