Our comprehensive approach to community organizing encompasses extensive voter outreach linked to ongoing advocacy and leadership development initiatives.

ROLE SUMMARY: NVM is expanding its workforce and is in search of passionate individuals committed to social justice and community empowerment. As part of our 2024 political voter outreach initiative, canvassers will play a crucial role in raising awareness about endorsed candidates and delivering essential voting information to the public.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage directly with voters through phone calls, text messaging, and in-person interactions.
  • Ensure the submission of accurate and complete data.
  • Support the Regional Field Director in achieving program objectives.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technological tools.
  • Strong communication skills across diverse communities.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of independent work.
  • Flexibility to work long and irregular hours.
  • Alignment with the mission and values of NVM.

COMPENSATION: This is a seasonal role with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. Canvassers will receive a competitive pay rate of $20 per hour.
