We are looking for a diligent community organizer to join our passionate team. Candidates should be able to communicate in a professional manner, outreach coordinator, and be a helpful and positive team member.

To be successful as a Specialty Transportation Coordinator, the candidate should possess professional communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Specialty Transportation Coordinator's should demonstrate passion in this position; respect those we serve, the agency team, and people we partner with; work with integrity; be dependable in all work areas; and show empathy and caring for the community.

Specialty Transportation Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Act as dispatch for North County Shuttle Service, primary contact for Employment Transportation, and assist with Bike to Work classes.
  • Effectively use systems to document and process bus passes and schedule trips to meet the eligible clients' transportation needs.
  • Work with partner agencies to screen candidates for the Employment program including the Bike to Work Program. Coordinate with others in the agency to schedule and prepare for training sessions. Co-facilitate classes as needed.
  • Facilitate meetings with community partners to update them; clarify any questions and build relationships on at least a quarterly basis. Report outtakes to leadership.
  • Conduct presentations throughout the community on behalf of the programs; proactively seek out opportunities to educate and support the agency, and our community partners, in our transportation programs.

Specialty Transportation Coordinator Requirements

  • At least one-year of experience in human services transportation and/or program administration or
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
