Job DescriptionJob Description

Join SADA as a Senior Healthcare and Life Sciences Solutions Consultant (HCLS)

Your Mission

Are you a passionate healthcare and life sciences (HCLS) industry technologist who thrives on decoding complex challenges? Do you believe in the power of data and technology to drive breakthrough discoveries, improve patient outcomes and streamline caregiver experiences? If so, then join us as a Senior HCLS Solutions Consultant at SADA.

In this crucial role, you'll be a trusted advisor guiding hospitals, software companies, pharma, and biotech firms through their data and technology transformations, as well as a data enthusiast unlocking insights and opportunities that elevate patient care and organizational efficiency. You'll be a bridge between business, clinical, and scientific needs and data-driven possibilities, shaping effective solutions that unlock our customers' full potential.

Pathway to Success

#MakeThemRave is at the foundation of all our engineering. Our motivation is to provide customers with an exceptional experience in migrating, developing, modernizing, and operationalizing their systems in Google Cloud Platform.

Your success starts by positively impacting the direction of a fast-growing practice with vision and passion. You will be measured bi-yearly by the breadth, magnitude, and quality of your contributions, your ability to estimate accurately, customer feedback at the close of projects, how well you collaborate with your peers, and the consultative polish you bring to customer interactions.

As you continue to execute successfully, we will build a customized development plan together that leads you through the engineering or management growth tracks.

Expectations

  • Unveil hidden potential: Conduct in-depth analyses of client use cases, data, and workflows, identifying key areas for improvement through data-driven strategies and technology integration.
  • Craft solutions with purpose: Design high-level solutions that leverage data insights and appropriate technologies to address specific challenges.
  • Bridge the gap with clarity: Effectively communicate complex data insights and technology concepts to diverse audiences, fostering understanding and buy-in across all levels.
  • Collaborate for success: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support of tailored solutions.
  • Navigate the tech landscape: Stay informed about the latest industry technology advancements, from data analytics tools to emerging AI applications, recommending and evaluating their potential for client solutions.
  • Build trust and influence: Develop strong relationships with clients, establishing yourself as a reliable advisor and championing their data-driven transformation journey.
  • Customer facing: You will interact with customers on a regular basis, sometimes daily, other times weekly/bi-weekly. Common touchpoints occur when qualifying potential opportunities, at project kickoff, throughout the engagement as progress is communicated, and at project close. You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives.
  • Onboarding/training: The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.
  • Required Travel: Up to 15% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.

Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

  • 8+ years of experience in analysis and delivery of data-driven solutions in the healthcare and/or life sciences industries.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical informatics, healthcare administration, business analytics, computer science).

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successfully designing and leading implementation of data-driven solutions that deliver tangible value to the HCLS industry.
  • Strong understanding of industry personas, terminology, workflows, and challenges
  • Solid understanding of how data engineering, machine learning, and AI projects can be applied to solve industry problems.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to tailor your message to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Useful Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially its HCLS-specific products, such as Healthcare Data Engine and Healthcare API.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure, especially their HCLS-specific products.
