In this pivotal position, you will serve as a trusted advisor, assisting healthcare providers, software developers, pharmaceutical companies, and biotech organizations in navigating their data and technology transitions. You will harness your passion for data to unveil insights and opportunities that enhance patient care and operational effectiveness. Your role will bridge the gap between business, clinical, and scientific requirements and the possibilities offered by data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify Opportunities: Perform comprehensive analyses of client scenarios, data, and workflows to pinpoint critical areas for enhancement through data-centric strategies and technology integration.
  • Design Purposeful Solutions: Develop high-level solutions that utilize data insights and relevant technologies to tackle specific challenges.
  • Communicate Effectively: Clearly convey complex data insights and technological concepts to varied audiences, fostering understanding and support across all organizational levels.
  • Collaborate for Excellence: Partner closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation and ongoing support of customized solutions.
  • Stay Ahead of Technology: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in industry technology, from data analytics tools to emerging AI applications, and assess their applicability for client solutions.
  • Build Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and advocate for their data-driven transformation journey.
  • Client Engagement: Regularly interact with clients, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives, during various project phases, from opportunity qualification to project closure.
  • Onboarding and Training: The initial weeks will focus on learning through various materials, compliance training, and meetings with key individuals.
  • Travel Requirements: Expect up to 15% travel to client sites, conferences, and related events.

Qualifications

Essential Credentials:

  • 8+ years of experience in analyzing and delivering data-driven solutions within the healthcare and/or life sciences sectors.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., biomedical informatics, healthcare administration, business analytics, computer science).

Core Competencies:

  • Demonstrated success in designing and leading the implementation of data-driven solutions that provide measurable value to the HCLS sector.
  • In-depth understanding of industry roles, terminology, workflows, and challenges.
  • Strong grasp of how data engineering, machine learning, and AI can address industry-specific issues.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence at all organizational levels, collaborating effectively with clients and internal teams.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly its HCLS-specific offerings like Healthcare Data Engine and Healthcare API.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure, especially their HCLS-specific solutions.
  • Knowledge of common industry data sources and applications, such as EMRs and laboratory systems.
  • Technical understanding of prevalent industry data types, including HL7, FHIR, DICOM, ICD, UML, etc.
