Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years in business development roles, selling services to manufacturing companies. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent sales skills, capable of identifying and solving manufacturing constraints and justifying costs to senior executives within client organizations.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.

- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector, focusing on companies that can benefit from outsourced manufacturing solutions.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including executives and senior management within target organizations.

- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client manufacturing constraints and develop tailored solutions that provide significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.

- Present and articulate the value proposition of our outsourcing services, including cost justification, to prospective clients.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our services.

- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.

- Track and report on sales performance, market feedback, and pipeline development to senior management.


Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development roles, specifically selling services to manufacturing clients.

- Proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets and growing client bases.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to identify and solve constraints.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to travel extensively.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; MBA is a plus.

- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
