Job Overview

Working closely with the Business Development Manager (BDM), the Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for growing accounts assigned to them within the BDM customer base. The BDR will prospect, nurture, and grow customers that fall in the BDM territory they support. The BDR is responsible to engage the BDM (s) to ensure they understand the relationship, needs, and growth strategy in order to maintain the relationship and successfully grow revenue through collaboration with the BDM (s).

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prospect new business within the assigned territory.
  • Increase overall revenue and gross profit within assigned customer(s)
  • Develop, manage, and grow assigned customers.
  • Develop, manage, and close opportunity pipeline.
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship between assigned customers and Allegis
  • Manage communications between customers and internal teams
  • Provide standard product and application assistance
  • Participate in campaigns developed by management
  • Help ensure all customer needs and deliverables are met
  • Engage customers on specific BDM directed opportunities/potential needs
  • Learn and comprehend internal procedures that must be followed throughout the sales process.
Qualifications
  • Ability to manage assigned customers
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time ant territory effectively
  • Manage and develop opportunity pipeline
  • Must be able to work in a team setting as well as independently
  • Must be a good listener and a people person
  • Must be self-motivated, self-directed and goal-oriented
  • Basic computer skills, experience with CRM software, Microsoft teams, and online meeting tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven results of delivering customer solutions and growth
  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to close customer opportunities
