Our client is looking for a Hunter / Business Development Manager to expand their business. This is a Hybrid role based in Princeton, NJ.

Our client is a design-led data science company. They build custom Data & AI solutions that help solve complex business problems with actionable insights and compelling data stories.

They have a successful business but need someone to help leverage the opportunity they have with both their current client base, and new opportunities too. The role will have a generous commission structure which should give you the chance to earn 200k+

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients in the North American market who can benefit from our data science services. Utilize various channels including cold calling, networking events, social media, and industry conferences.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Understand market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to tailor sales approaches.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, CXOs and stakeholders within target organizations. Act as a trusted advisor to potential clients, understanding their business challenges and how our services can address them.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track progress against targets, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management. Use CRM (Hubspot)tools to document interactions and sales activities.
  • Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations. Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and our company.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, Delivery, and data science experts, to ensure client requirements are met and to leverage their expertise in sales pitches.
  • Market Feedback: Provide feedback to the marketing teams regarding client needs, industry trends, and competitive activity to inform future service offerings and marketing strategies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years Business Development experience working in Multinational Companies selling IT / Software Services.
  • Experience in a B2B selling role with either IT Services or SaaS
