Job Summary

The HR Generalist's main responsibility will be managing recruiting for hourly positions here at restor3d. The generalist will also be responsible for completing a variety of daily tasks that support the operations of the company’s human resources department.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Recruits and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verification
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee engagement events
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, and other key details.
  • Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
  • Serves as company’s main point of contact for all interactions with PEO.
  • Coordinates company-wide team building events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and experience

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to act with confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
